Air Jordan 3 Retro “J Balvin Rio”

The Air Jordan 3 Retro “J Balvin Rio” is a collaboration between Jordan Brand and Colombian artist J Balvin, released on May 22, 2024, at a retail price of $250.  This special edition sneaker pays tribute to J Balvin’s son, Rio, embodying the vibrancy and energy associated with his name. 

The sneaker features a predominantly black leather upper complemented by classic grey elephant print overlays on the toe and heel areas. A standout design element is the gradient midsole, transitioning from bright orange to deep abyss, inspired by the dynamic hues of a sunset.  Additional details include translucent heel tabs adorned with J Balvin’s signature logo and co-branded accents, such as his iconic “Smiley Face” emblem, adding a personalized touch to the design.
